Performing Arts Specialists - Higher Level Teaching Assistant
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Fulbridge Academy for Performing Arts Specialists/HLTA to join our team from February 2025.

Our broad curriculum teaches academic and vocational subjects, promoting social and emotional development alongside reading, oracy, writing and maths. Our Physical Education, Performing Arts, Drama, Music Art, and Forest School staff are specialists in their subjects.
We are privileged to work with dedicated and enthusiastic staff, from teaching staff to support staff, who do their best every day to offer the highest level of education and support to the children in our care.
Grade 9
Point 24-28 - Actual Salary £19,277 - £21,393
26 hrs per week (4 days)
Term time only
Monday to Thursday 8.30am- 3.30pm

Vacancy Description –
You will be working alongside the Performing Arts lead to deliver the following roles and responsibilities:
● Organise learning linked to local and national learning strategies and the Music
national curriculum.
● Undertake assessments and observations of children within your area, providing
detailed and regular feedback on achievements, progress, problems, etc.
● Adapt and deliver learning activities with individual children, or small groups, who would benefit from different learning approaches (as agreed).
● Encourage and promote inclusion and acceptance.
● Prioritise safeguarding and wellbeing of the children at all times.
● Develop and maintain effective relationships with other staff, parents, and carers.
● Attend relevant meetings as required.

At Fulbridge Academy we have designed an innovative, knowledge-rich curriculum that will prepare children for their future. It is informed by research and shaped to meet the needs of our local community. Our curriculum enables each child to develop an active mind, identity, heart and voice. The knowledge and skills of the curriculum are thoughtfully sequenced so that children remember what they learn and understand the key concepts of each subject.
Working Week –

Future Prospects –
Over the past 5 years, Fulbridge Academy has supported many apprentices. Many of these have been successful in obtaining their qualifications and are now full members of staff with us.

You will be working alongside the class teacher to deliver the following roles and

At Fulbridge Academy, you will be working towards a Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification over the course of 15- 18 month period.

Continually supported by both a school and college-based mentor
