Below are the 17 areas that make up the Early Learning Goals (ELG). They each have a detailed explanation of what children can do to achieve each one.

Children do not need to meet all the criteria to achieve ELG, it is completed on a best fit basis. 

Expected: where a child is meeting the expected levels of development and shows their readiness for Year 1. 

Emerging: children are not yet reaching expected levels of development.
